"One of the Big 4 banks, the NAB, has changed its forecast for interest rates and is tipping the Reserve Bank to move in November (just two months away) to increase its target for the cash rate by 25 basis points. What’s more the NAB expects the Reserve Bank to increase rate by a further 25 basis points in December and in February 2010.
The Reserve Bank has been more bullish about the recovery in the economy than both the government and the IMF. Market watchers have noticed the Reserve Bank’s use of “emergency” levels to refer to current interest rates. The Reserve Bank has concerns....."
